This course introduces students to the culture, structure, and student-life on college campuses in the United States. Topics include student engagement, campus life, academic expectations, fraternity and sorority life, and systems. Students will also learn about unique aspects of American campus culture and the major role of campus life in building school spirit and community. The course will explore how students get involved on campus, balance academic and social life, and navigate life away from home. This is an interactive course designed to help students have a first-hand understanding of college life in the United States. Discussions, campus tours, and real-life examples will give students a well-rounded view of what it means to be part of a U.S. college community.

Meeting Times:

  • Session 1: Friday 5pm-9pm EST 
  • Session 2: Saturday 9am-6pm EST 
  • Session 3: Sunday 9am-1pm EST
