October 3 sessions | 36 Hours Online Instructor: James Parise Whether you are a passionate sports fan or interested in learning about American sports, this course will provide you with an educational and interactive experience virtually. The course is designed to further your knowledge of professional sports entertainment. This would include an interactive group study in the classroom highlighting an overview/history of the five major pro sports leagues (MLB, NHL, NFL, NBA, and MLS), the impact of media, and engagement. This course is designed for those who are intrigued about American sports traditions and entertainment. Through interactive videos, readings, case studies, and online discussions, students will gain a deeper understanding of how professional sports work in the U.S. and explore sports management, media, and business.
